Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a massive nerd when it comes to email deliverability. There's no better feeling than sending an email Playbook and getting a 50% response rate.
And today, we've released a series of features that I am more excited to announce than almost any past feature announcement.
Live now in LeadLoft, is a whole host of features specifically designed to increase email performance.
Let's dive in!
Feature #1: Mimic Human Sending Patterns 🤖
Have you ever wondered if there's a difference between email automation and manual outreach? I think we all can agree that there is.
Humans tend to send emails at odd times and in strange patterns. We've tested the difference and sending like a human leads to shockingly high deliverability rates, meaning your emails land in the "Primary Inbox" almost every time.
This got us thinking, can we mimic these patterns? Well, we tested, re-tested, and tested some more, and we have some very exciting news.
Starting today, every automated email sent from LeadLoft will now mimic human sending patters. These algorithmic patterns are specifically designed to fool spam filters so you can keep your emails out of the spam folder and in the primary inbox.
And this is all done in the background without your team needing to lift a finger.
Feature #2: Bounce Detection ❌
Bounced emails can hurt deliverability. LeadLoft already sends emails through an extensive verification process but there are times when bounces can simply not be avoided.
In these rare cases, LeadLoft will now work in the background to automatically detect bounces, update the email status to "Invalid", and block you from contacting bounced emails again in the future.
This protects your sender reputation and leads to a higher deliverability rate.
Feature #3: Sending Timeframes ⏰
Ever open a work email at 2am? Yea, neither have I.
Moving forwards, LeadLoft won't be sending emails at 2am anymore.
Just set your Playbook settings to send emails at "Any Time" and LeadLoft will work in the background to ensure emails go out within socially acceptable time frames.
Feature #4: Set Email Limits 🛑
I've said it before and I'l say it again, the volume of emails you send per day is one of the most important aspects of deliverability.
If you send 2,000 emails per day, you can almost be sure that your emails will miss the Primary Inbox.
With today's release, you can now set email sending limits for automated emails. For the best results, we recommend staying between 80 and 150 automated emails per day.
This not only results in higher open and reply rates, but it will ensure your sender reputation is protected.
Feature #5: Clean HTML ✨
Messy HTML is a sure fire way to land in the promotions folder. For example, I sent this blog post out in an email and I'll brag, it looked great! The email was colorful and had some cool designs but it also had a lot of HTML. If I were a betting man, I would wager that it landed in the Promotions folder. With a cold email, this should never happen.
To ensure every email sent from LeadLoft lands in the Primary Inbox, we've optimized the HTML of every email to be squeaky clean.
What does this all mean?
This means LeadLoft is the single most optimized platform for sending emails at scale.
Whether you are using LeadLoft for fundraising, sales, or anything else, you can now send emails knowing that there is an entire team working in the background to ensure you get more eyes on your emails and responses in your inbox.
